WHAT WOULD JESUS THE CHRIST DO?

Poverty. . . Crime. . . Drug Abuse. . . Violence. . . Racism . . .Youth Killings. . . The increasing 
gap between the "haves" and the "have nots", especially in technology, the "digital divide". . .

Christ can address the causative factors of the problems that threaten our communities, countries and the world!

CENTER SPACE, (the Center for Spiritual, Personal And Community Empowerment), invites you to join us in an exciting new project to demonstrate how we can work together and resolve many of the major problems that affect our people, our communities and the world by applying the Positive, Practical Principles of Christianity. We are proposing a joint venture with individual Unity Churches across the United States and abroad and other partners to foster spiritual, personal and community empowerment and encompass the eleven affinity areas identified in the Association's Future Search 2010 process: #1 Education, # 2 Prosperity, #3, Strategic Alliances, #4 Technology, #5 Global, #6 Inclusivity, #7 Leadership, #8 Community Resource Centers, #9. Unity Principles, # 10 Influence for Peace, and #11 Positive impact on the human condition.

Many Unity Churches and Centers are not understood, recognized or appreciated in their community. Through this initiative, members of the Unity family worldwide are being invited to participate as co-creators of a multi-site demonstration project that would incorporate all of the affinity areas, help develop strategic alliances with other organizations and facilities such as Community Development Corporations, Public Housing Authorities, Community Action Agencies, United Ways, etc.

We would also create what could become the "Amazon.com for Spiritually Oriented Successful Living" with new distance learning programs available via the Internet that would allow our strategic alliance partners and others, the opportunity to access the wealth of Unity programs and resources. This would include publications, seminars, workshops, and an international network of ministers, teachers and consultants able to help individuals, organizations, churches and communities address whatever issues they face.

The potential positive impact could be so significant and so successful that every Unity Church and Center would benefit from greater level of public awareness of and appreciation for Unity as a result of the international publicity and recognition that could be generated.

How could you or your Unity Church benefit if our project is as successful as it might be? What do you have to contribute to this process? Do you have a skill or talent that could help demonstrate how Unity may address these influences? Have you or a member of your Church developed a seminar or workshop that could be offered through the project? Would you be willing to participate in various projects and programs?
